2.2 Bespoke and Made-to-Order Pieces

Many of our pieces are made to order or can be customized to your specifications. For custom orders:

  • Design consultations may be required before production begins
  • Specific timelines will be communicated and agreed upon before order confirmation
  • Custom pieces are subject to our cancellation and returns policy outlined in Section 7
  • Final designs will be confirmed with you before creation begins

2.3 Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or US Dollars (USD) as indicated
  • Prices include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) where required by Nigerian law
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice
  • The price charged will be the price displayed at the time you complete your order
  • Shipping costs are additional and calculated at checkout

2.4 Product Availability

  • Ready-to-ship items are subject to availability
  • Made-to-order pieces require production time as specified in product descriptions
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue any product
  • If an item becomes unavailable after your order, we will contact you promptly to discuss alternatives or issue a full refund

3. Ordering and Payment

3.1 Order Process

When you place an order with Renikeji:

  • You will receive an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order
  • This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order
  • We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion
  • Acceptance occurs when we dispatch your order and send shipping confirmation

3.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment through secure payment processors. Payment must be received in full before we begin production or ship ready-to-ship items.

3.3 Payment Security

  • All payment transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways
  • We do not store complete credit card or bank account information on our servers
  • You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the payment information provided

3.4 Order Confirmation

For bespoke and custom orders, we may require:

  • Additional design consultations via email or phone
  • Approval of design sketches or CAD renderings
  • Confirmation of measurements, sizing, and specifications
  • Deposit payment before production begins (typically 70% of total cost)

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Shipping Within Nigeria

  • Shipping is available nationwide
  • Delivery times vary by location and are estimates only
  • Standard shipping typically takes 3-7 business days within major cities
  • Remote areas may require additional delivery time
  • Shipping costs are calculated based on destination and package weight

4.2 International Shipping

  • We ship to select international destinations
  • International shipping times vary by location and customs processing
  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees
  • We are not liable for delays caused by customs or international carriers
  • International orders may require additional documentation

4.3 Delivery

  • A signature may be required upon delivery for high-value items
  • Please ensure someone is available to receive the package
  • If delivery cannot be completed, the courier will leave instructions
  • You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information
  • Renikeji is not liable for delays or loss due to the production of incorrect addresses

4.4 Tracking

For international deliveries, order tracking information will be provided via email once your item ships. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking information to become active.

4.5 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value orders.

5. Production and Lead Times

5.1 Ready-to-Ship Items

Items marked as “In Stock” or “Ready to Ship” will typically ship within 1-3 business days of order confirmation and payment receipt.

5.2 Made-to-Order Items

  • Production time varies by piece complexity and is stated in product descriptions
  • Typical production time ranges from 2 to 6 weeks
  • You will be notified of estimated completion dates upon order confirmation
  • Rush orders may be available for an additional fee—please contact us to inquire

5.3 Bespoke Commissions

Custom-designed pieces follow a collaborative process:

  1. Initial consultation and design discussion
  2. Design proposal and quotation
  3. Deposit payment
  4. Design refinement and approval
  5. Production (timeline specified in agreement)
  6. Quality inspection and final payment
  7. Shipping

Production timelines for bespoke pieces are provided on a case-by-case basis.

5.4 Delays

While we strive to meet all stated timelines, production delays may occasionally occur due to:

  • Material availability
  • Unforeseen technical challenges
  • Courier delays
  • Force majeure events

We will communicate any significant delays promptly and work to minimize inconvenience.

6. Sizing and Measurements

6.1 Ring Sizing

  • We offer standard ring sizes and can accommodate custom sizing
  • Please refer to our Size Guide for accurate measurement instructions
  • Incorrect sizing provided by customers may affect returns eligibility
  • Resizing services may be available for an additional fee

6.2 Custom Measurements

For pieces requiring specific measurements (bracelets, anklets, custom lengths):

  • You are responsible for providing accurate measurements
  • We provide measurement guides and are available to assist
  • Incorrectly provided measurements may affect returns eligibility

7. Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

7.1 Ready-to-Ship Items

  • Items may be returned within3 days of delivery
  • Items must be unworn, unaltered, and in original condition with all tags and packaging
  • Original proof of purchase must be provided
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective
  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned item
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

7.2 Made-to-Order Items

Made-to-order items are generally not eligible for return or exchange unless:

  • The item is defective or damaged upon receipt
  • The item significantly differs from the agreed specifications
  • There was an error on our part in production

You must report any issues within 48 hours of delivery.

7.3 Bespoke and Custom Items

Custom-designed and bespoke pieces created to your specific requirements are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless:

  • The item is defective due to craftsmanship errors
  • The item does not match the approved design specifications

7.4 Cancellations

  • Ready-to-ship orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund
  • Made-to-order items can be cancelled before production begins for a full refund
  • Once production has started, cancellations may result in the forfeiture of the deposit
  • Bespoke commissions: Deposits are non-refundable once design work has begun

7.5 Exchanges

Subject to availability, we may offer exchanges for:

  • Different sizes (for eligible items)
  • Different styles of equal or greater value
  • Defective or damaged items

8. Quality and Warranties

8.1 Craftsmanship Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. Each piece is:

  • All materials are as described in product listings
  • Precious metals and gemstones are genuine unless clearly stated as plated or simulated

  • Manufacturing defects for 6 months from the delivery date
  • Structural failures under normal wear
  • Gemstone loss due to setting failure (not from impact or damage)

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse, accidents, or improper care
  • Modifications made by third parties
  • Loss or theft
  • Scratches, dents, or patina development on metals

8.4 Repairs

Repair services may be available for purchased items. Contact us for assessment, quotation, and repair timelines. Repairs are subject to material availability and feasibility.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Ownership

All content on our website, including designs, images, text, logos, and graphics, is the exclusive property of Renikeji and protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws.

9.2 Restrictions

You may not:

  • Reproduce, copy, or use our designs for commercial purposes
  • Use our brand name, logo, or trademarks without written permission
  • Copy or redistribute website content without authorization
  • Reverse engineer or replicate our jewellery designs

9.3 Custom Design Rights

For bespoke commissions, design rights remain with RENIKEJI unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to photograph and showcase custom pieces in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you specifically request otherwise.

10. User Accounts

10.1 Account Creation

You may create an account to:

  • Track orders and order history
  • Save shipping addresses and preferences
  • Create wishlists
  • Receive exclusive updates

10.2 Account Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account

11. Limitation of Liability
